01 Do you come to me, or do I come to you?
Both. Our mobile fleet covers the Sunshine Coast metro area — we'll come to your home or office for most repairs and replacements. You're also welcome at our Buderim workshop at Shed 4, 42 Kayleigh Drive.
02 How long does a windscreen replacement take?
On average a windscreen takes about 45 minutes to an hour to fit, depending on the vehicle. We recommend not driving for at least an hour afterwards so the urethane can cure and bond safely.
03 Can you do it same day?
Often, yes — same-day service is possible depending on glass availability and your location. Where we can't get to you the same day, we'll usually have you sorted the next day.
04 How much does a windscreen replacement cost?
It depends on your vehicle and the glass — a basic screen is very different to a prestige, heated or ADAS-equipped one. Send your rego or VIN and we'll come back with an exact, no-obligation price before any work starts. No surprises on the day.
05 What is ADAS calibration and do I need it?
Many modern cars use cameras mounted on the windscreen for features like lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. When the windscreen is replaced, those sensors must be recalibrated to factory spec so they work correctly. We calibrate in-house with HELLA Gutmann equipment, so there's no second trip to another workshop.
06 Do you fit quality glass?
Yes. We fit OEM glass (identical to what left the factory) or quality OEE glass — equivalent aftermarket made to the same Australian Standard, AS/NZS 2080. Both are safe and fully warranted, and we'll talk you through which suits your car and budget.
07 Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Every auto-glass installation we perform is backed by a nationwide guarantee on our workmanship.
08 How do I pay?
We accept cash and all major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard. (No payments are taken on this website — we'll sort that out when the job's done.)
09 Will there be broken glass left in my car?
We vacuum loose glass from inside your vehicle as part of the job. With a shattered window some fragments can work their way out over time, so we recommend a full detail afterwards for complete peace of mind.
10 Do you do 'windshield' replacement too?
Same thing — 'windshield' is just the American word for windscreen. Whatever you call it, we repair and replace autoglass on virtually any make and model right across the Sunshine Coast.
